I started my trip planning how to cover most in very few days, I had like 9 days there. So as most people suggested I kept my itinerary restricted to Bali only, especially Ubud, Nusa Pendia, Kuta and Ulluwatu.
I have prepared multiple itineraries for this trip where I optimized the duration of stays in area and what activities I will be doing. Initially, I wanted to learn the surfing there and if time allowed, I wanted to try the scuba diving as well.
While working on my itinerary, I found someone mentioned there is a Hike in Indonesia near to Denpasar which have very rare blue fire. Well, I made up my mind, if it’s rare then I should definitely visit.
I checked for transportation to there and could not find many affordable options online, so I chose to go with redbus service it was reasonably priced.
I short listed some hostels and booked few for my trip.
While booking the flight I realized I have a layover of few hours in Kuala Lampur. I had two choices either have 3-hour layover or 10-hour layover. Guess what, which one I chose? The 10 hours one 🙂
My plan for Malaysia was simple – Cover Batu caves and Twin Tower after that have lunch there.
After landing in Malaysia, I bought the ticket of a train to city. It costed me 50MYR which is around 1200 Indian Rupees.
Then I got off at the KL Sentral and from there I booked the grab car to Batu caves because Malaysia don’t have Bike option.

Well, I hiked up to the super famous stairs of Batu caves, inside was very beautiful temple built in a huge cave.

Here I have also found if you turn right from the parking area there is a paid temple, which I avoided to visit.
After spending an hour here, I booked another cab to Twin Towers. Once we arrived at the location, we struggled a bit. Cause I chose the payment method cash and driver didn’t have the change. But well after roaming around a bit, we managed to get a change from a store. He then dropped me at the location, after which my real struggle started. To find the entrance of this place and what am I supposed to do here? Well luckily, I found a mall nearby and then got to know observatory is closed for now.
After clicking few photos outside the twin tower, I started looking for the best Nasi lemak near me. I checked few options and chose to go with “Nasi Lemak Wanjo“. This place was very highly recommended on the google, so what was left? I booked the cab reach there.
Upon reaching there, I was guided towards the queue, where a nice lady firstly handed me over a plate, then upon moving further, they served the rice and egg, after which they asked me for the choice of meat, once my plate was completed I reached the billing counter, where I had the option to buy a drink, which I didn’t chose cause my plate already had enough carbs. The bill was based on base plate price and then the items we chose.
After I paid, I sat on the table, I had my first bite and man it was a delight, the gravy, the chicken, even the rice was tasting different from India. I definitely fell in love with this place, No tourists, only locals and amazing food.

Now since I have already checked whatever I had in my mind, I booked the cab to the Airport was planning to sleep there because I had like 3-4 hours still left.
Upon reaching the airport I was not able to find sitting area like India, So I just spent my time there until security let me get in to better sitting area. While I was sitting and waiting for my flight. I saw a family of two women’s and few kids missing their flight to Beijing which made me think, how much will it costs to book another flight? What if there is no flight available today? What about their visa, is it going to expire today? Based on these questions I spent my next few hours looking up on the internet for the answers.
Before the flight I took a quick meal of Chicken puff and my favorite Black Coffee

My flight to Denpasar was announced, so I reached the terminal. During my flight I order a meal which was full filling enough to get me to Denpasar.

Will write second part soon…….
